Typically every Tuesday night in the basement of The Rendezvous, The Comedy Nest is held.
The Nest is a womxn-focused comedy show and open mic; half their open spots are reserved for womxn comics. All comedians must agree to abide by their hate-free policy, which includes no misogyny, racism, homophobia, body-shaming, homeless-shaming, or hate-ridden material (we applaud this).
Tonight, we continue the tradition of Tuesday Night Comedy, virtually, until we are all able to gather again for The Comedy Nest.
Meet Rani Davidson!
Rani is a writer by day, standup comic by night (also an actor whenever she can book a gig). She is a budding storyteller who dislikes the word "budding." Fave topics include growing up half-breed (Cher owned it; so can she), sci-fi, and her thirties.
Local comedy legends (she'll refrain from name dropping) have called her writing "brilliant" and "fucking poetry." She would like very much to be on Drunk History, or host an Animal Planet show. If you know anyone who's looking...
